My partner was writhing in pain. My partner had a high-risk pregnancy, as well as a narrow pelvis; For this reason, I insisted (in) that, if she did not dilate, that they perform a cesarean section, but they did not pay attention to me, ”he narrated.

Just then, the doctors at the Maternity Hospital in Lima decided to give her a cesarean section.
“When they no longer heard the baby’s heartbeat, they waited another hour. It was not immediate. Just when my partner began to faint, they did a cesarean section, and they took my baby out dead, ”she recounted.
In order for the young couple not to report the alleged fact of medical negligence, the doctors of the Maternity Hospital in Lima would have tried to bribe them.
According to Torres, two doctors entered her partner’s room to convince her not to report the incident.
“Two doctors have entered to bribe her, to tell her to ask them for everything she wants so that the case stays there,” he said.
After seeking the version of the representatives of the Lima Maternity Hospital, Alexander Torres’ complaint was rejected and it was clarified that, during the ultrasound performed on the woman, the baby’s heartbeat was normal.
“During the ultrasound, the heartbeats have been normal. Unfortunately, during the first uterine contractions, there has been a detachment of the placenta, this can occur in some pathological cases”, replied Javier Correa, head of the hospital’s Emergency Department.
