Last February, for this case, the Public Ministry opened a preliminary investigation for aggravated collusion (corruption), which according to the law is punishable by a sentence of 3 to 6 years in prison.
A report by Hildebrandt in his Thirteen revealed that Rodríguez was appointed by Adrianzén as an adviser to his office with a salary of 15,500 soles per month. Otárola did not mention the name of her son in his sworn declaration of interests, despite the fact that he is 22 years old.
For its part, the Labor portfolio indicated that Carola Rodríguez meets all the requirements demanded by the position of advisor to the ministerial office, since she has almost eight years of experience in similar tasks. According to Otárola, she did not intervene in this contract and “for several years” she has not seen her ex-sister-in-law.

Becerra affirmed that “not even animals expose their children”, alluding to a group of protesters who participated last Saturday with their children in a protest in Lima.
At the beginning of March, the Prosecutor’s Office announced an investigation against Minister Adrianzén that also involved the adviser to President Dina Boluarte, Grika Asayag, and the president of the Social Health Security (EsSalud), Aurelio Orellana, in alleged acts of corruption.
Labor Minister, Alfonso Adrianzén, reported on the result of the strike called this Thursday.
The case, also made visible by Hildebrandt in his thirteen, corresponds to a payment of 41 million soles by EsSalud to the company Aiona Technology Corporation SAC, which in 2020 obtained the good pro in the procedure for the acquisition of one million rapid tests from Covid-19.
At the beginning of 2021, this payment was frozen after a report from the Comptroller’s Office showed that there was direction in the contracting of the company, but in February of this year, under the management of Orellana in EsSalud, the disbursement of this amount was executed.
The weekly indicated that Boluarte herself became aware of the case and asked the president of EsSalud for explanations, who supposedly has a friendship with the president’s adviser.
