After his retirement as a professional boxer, Juan Manuel Márquez has continued to be close to boxing as a promoter of the discipline. In his new facet, he has dedicated himself to visiting various states of the country to organize functions with prospects from each of the entities. In this sense, after having presented his first performance in Mexico City, he will arrive in Sonora to continue with his schedule.

The company known as Promociones Juan Manuel Márquez will arrive in the municipality of Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, for the presentation of a boxing night next Wednesday, March 8, 2023. In the stellar fight, cataloged with the rank of “Civil War”, two exponents of the state will seek to win the Latino Lightweight Championship of the World Boxing Council (WBC).

The stellar encounter will be led by Luis Koreano Torres, who has an undefeated record of 17 fights and 10 knockouts, as well as by Misael Pichón Cabrera, who has prescribed the same amount of chloroforms although he has only won 14 victories and carries one single loss in his professional statistics.
