It was during the event organized by the PRI, that Alito Moreno in his speech said: “we are going to promote the deepest and greatest reform within our party,” and added “because we are not afraid of political debate.” He stated that they will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the party at the National Palace.

He said that discussions, reflections and debates would begin in the state steering committees to begin work at the next party assembly, in order to reform the PRI and strengthen it to return to the presidency of Mexico.
