Laura Ojeda, Nicolás Petro’s girlfriend, starred in a violence scandal with her ex

The name of Laura Ojeda has become relevant again among the Colombian public, after Nicolás Petro, representative of the Atlantic and eldest son of President Gustavo Petro, told W Radio that she is his girlfriend and they are expecting a baby.

And although the young lawyer and social communicator had stayed away from the media, after the news of her pregnancy was released, many remembered that they met her on the reality show ‘Protagonistas de nuestra tele’.

In fact, in this RCN channel contest, she had an affair with Jonathan Fierro, another of the participants, with whom she maintained the relationship until, according to her, she got tired of being verbally, physically, and psychologically assaulted.

The fact was made known by Laura Ojeda in November 2019, during an interview with the entertainment program I know everything, through which she claimed to have sued her former sentimental partner for “aggravated personal injuries.”

According to what was stated by Nicolás Petro’s girlfriend on that occasion, a week after breaking up with Jonathan Fierro, he began to receive offensive messages through social networks. Days later, she ran into him in the gym and says he started insulting her, for which she slapped him.

It was then that the current daughter-in-law of President Gustavo Petro made the decision to go talk to Fierro’s mother, in order to find a peaceful solution to the conflict and for each one to continue on their way. However, she says that the man found out about the plan and came to the meeting accompanied by his sister, with whom Ojeda physically confronted in the middle of an argument.

Laura Ojeda added in her testimony that, in the midst of the fight with this woman, Jonathan took the opportunity to hit her and even released his dog to attack her, but her mother did not allow that to happen.

In addition, she mentioned that he had already assaulted her on another occasion and for this reason, in the middle of the Barranquilla Carnival, he spent a night deprived of his liberty in a UPJ.

Days after the Barranquillera’s statements became known, Jonathan Fierro came out to deny this version and, as an argument, showed the security recording of the moment in which she says she only slapped him.

As the images in question show, Nicolás Petro’s girlfriend goes to where his ex was and beats him without saying a word. He, in the middle of her struggle, also hits her and pulls her hair.

They last like this for more than a minute until other people, who were in the same gym, intercede to end the fight. In addition, they ask them to leave the place and they obey.

“The mistreatment of men also exists here is the proof of everything and if they don’t even believe in my innocence there is no worse blind person than the one who does not want to see. He came to hit me viciously without saying a word (…) They were just insults after insults and his drunken state in which he arrived was remarkable. I didn’t want to come to this, but my good name has been sullied and I have to defend myself,” said Jonathan Fierro.

Regarding the confrontation with his sister, the former contestant of “Protagonistas de nuestra tele” mentioned that, contrary to what Laura Ojeda said, everything happened when she left the gym and went to the apartment where he lived, although he did not have authorization, and there he attacked him again in front of his mother and sister.
