Netflix is coming soon with a new series with Yes Day (2021) actor Edgar Ramírez in the lead role. Florida Man is about a former police officer who still takes on a job that quickly turns into a chaotic situation. The series will be shown next spring and the teaser trailer can be seen now.

Mike Valentine, a troubled ex-cop, is forced to return to his home state of Florida to find the runaway girlfriend of a Philly mobster. What should be a quick job soon turns into a wild journey where all kinds of hidden family secrets come up. In an environment where everything is wrong, it turns out to be very difficult to do the right thing. His journey to a sunny place brings Mike face to face with many shady people.
Cast & crew
The series was created by Ugly Betty (2006–2010) writer Donald Todd who wrote his script for This Is Us (2016–2022) received nominations for an Emmy, a Writers Guild Award, and a Golden Globe. In addition to Ramírez, Abbey Lee, Anthony LaPaglia and Clark Gregg, among others, can also be seen in the series.
