A total of 75 nations and 600 athletes participated at the 2023 Alpine Skiing World Championships in Méribel and Courchevel. The organizers have announced up to 20,000 spectators on average per competition day.
This is the first time that a duo of stations, Méribel and Courchevel, are working together to organize the Worlds in the French Alps.
With 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal, Switzerland leads the medal standings. Norway is second (2 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze) and the United States third (2 gold and 2 silver). France ranks sixth.
