Russia intensifies its offensive in the Lugansk region

In Ukraine, the Russian forces intensify their offensive on the front in the Kreminna area, as reported by the governor of Lugansk. It is there that most of the bombardments and attacks are concentrated. While about 50 km to the north towards the city of Svatove, the Ukrainian positions are more “stable”, and according to the “Ukrinform” agency, the Ukrainian Army destroys heavy Russian equipment on a daily basis.

In the frozen forests of eastern Ukraine, this Ukrainian soldier says he wants the war to end as soon as possible: “We want the war to end as soon as possible, to expel them from our land, from our territory.”

While in Kupiansk, in the Kharkov region, the civilian population continues to face difficulties a few kilometers from the front line. Zelene’s neighbors receive humanitarian aid as explosions resound as Russian forces focus their efforts on breaking the Ukrainian line.
