The governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García, anticipated this Wednesday that in the next few days the installation in that entity of a Tesla plant, of the American magnate Elon Musk, could be announced.
These were the reasons why Elon Musk “moved” his companies from California to Texas during the Covid-19 pandemic
Initially, the Tesla plant was located in California, however, for different reasons, he changed his residence to Austin, Texas
If confirmed, this plant would be very close to the border with Texas, United States, facilitating the logistics for the transfer of vehicles to North America.
Questioned by the press on the subject, Samuel García assured that “very good news is coming”, although he did not mention the name of the company due to the confidentiality contract that the state government signed with the electric car company.
The millionaire amount that Elon Musk plans to invest in Mexico that exceeds the fortune of several Mexican magnates
Elon Musk will invest a large amount of money that is even greater than several of the fortunes of some of the richest people in Mexico
“They are going to get me fined (for revealing information). Just as we told you with the Metro (which is being built now): patience, patience. We told everyone that very good news is coming,” García declared.

The governor, emanating from Movimiento Ciudadano (MC), asserted that “there is no rebatinga (lawsuit), there are no negotiations” with other states to snatch the installation of the plant, regarding the proposal made by the federal government to install the industrial complex in Hidalgo, an entity governed by Morena.
What is the difference between the fortune of Elon Musk, the richest person in the US, and that of Carlos Slim
Elon Musk is the second richest person in the world, while Carlos Slim, in addition to being the richest person in Mexico, is also the richest man in Latin America.
The investment, according to journalist Mario Maldonado, would be around 10 billion dollars, and the decision to install the plant in Nuevo León is due to its proximity to Texas, where magnate Elon Musk has installed his companies.
The spokesman for the Presidency, Jesús Ramírez Cuevas, stated last month that Tesla would be installed in the state of Hidalgo, near the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA), the priority work of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador for the Mexican capital.
In addition, the Secretary of Foreign Relations, Marcelo Ebrard, predicted “good news” on Tuesday, February 14, after meeting with Rohan Patel, Tesla’s Director of Business Development, and Eugenio Grandio, Director of Market in Mexico.
Governor García made these statements upon leaving an event with students in the municipality of Santa Catarina, where he told the students to prepare because many professionals will be required in new fields.

“We are already a few days away from the announcement, so we are very happy, and that is why I told the children to study, to prepare very well because we are going to require many engineers, professionals: the new aerospace industry, the electrical energy, from lithium”, he commented.
Since last year, the news of the installation of a Tesla assembly plant in Nuevo León has been circulating after a photograph of Elon Musk with the governor’s wife, the influencer Mariana Rodríguez, emerged.
However, in recent weeks, the López Obrador government has put other states such as Sonora, Hidalgo and the State of Mexico on the map as possible destinations for the electric car manufacturer.
In addition, other entities such as Guanajuato and San Luis Potosí have also shown interest in the project.
The Mexican automobile industry represents almost 4% of the national gross domestic product (GDP) and 20.5% of manufacturing GDP, above any other sector, according to the Mexican Association of the Automotive Industry (AMIA).

On Valentine’s Day, Samuel García shared through his Instagram account the luxurious gift he gave his wife: a white Tesla, Model X truck.
Among the characteristics of the model, it stands out that it reaches a maximum speed of 250 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, in addition to the fact that it has full autonomous driving capacity.
The president explained that this gift was an act of reciprocity for all the effort she has made during her pregnancy, since she assured that every day, due to a blood condition, she injects herself so as not to have problems with the birth of the baby.
“I got her as a gift, I was encouraged to buy her a truck, a Tesla, it’s like a kind of reciprocity for everything she has done to be pregnant, and to tell her that there is no greater gift than her love and friendship this February 14”
