Ways of upgrading teachers

By March, the negotiations between the ministry and the trade unions must lead to a revaluation of the teachers. Several avenues are under study.

Condition the 10% increase in wages on the exercise of 72 hours per year, beyond class hours, to take on new assignments, including sixth-grade support hours.

Establish a degressive system, ranging from 292 € additional monthly for young recruits to 0 € beyond twenty-six years of seniority.

The Court of Auditors, for its part, wishes to leave the rectors budget flexibility to attract teachers to the academies where there is a shortage.
