Netflix announces the brand new animated series Agent Elvis (2023) for adults. The teaser trailer for the series reveals that Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey will voice Elvis Presley.

In Agent Elvis, Elvis trades in his jumpsuit for a jetpack when he is employed by the government on a secret spy program to fight the dark forces in the land. He does all this while keeping his job as the King of Rock and Roll. The animated series will consist of ten episodes. Watch the teaser trailer here:
From crew to cast
Agent Elvis was created by Priscilla Presley and John Eddie. In addition to Eddie, Mike Arnold serves as showrunner, lead writer and executive producer. McConaughey, Kevin Noel, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, Ben Kalina, Jamie Salter, Corey Salter and Marc Rosen executive produce. Academy Award nominee Robert Valley created the look of the animated Elvis Presley, and Agent Elvis’s wardrobe was designed by fashion designer John Varvatos. The animated series was first announced in 2019. The series was titled ‘Agent King’ at the time.

Ever since Elvis was a young boy, he always dreamed of being the superhero who fights crime and saves the world! This series lets him do just that. My co-creator John Eddie and I are so excited to be working with Netflix and Sony Animation on this amazing project and having the opportunity to show the world an Elvis they’ve never seen before.
