Orkun Kökçü is not sure what to think of the draw with Feyenoord against PSV, although he is especially happy that a point was taken. The captain seemed to be on his way to defeat for a long time with the team from Rotterdam.
With one man more – PSV player Armando Obispo got a red card after more than an hour – Feyenoord fell behind 0-2. Alireza Jahanbakhsh made it 2-2 with goals in the 81st and 96th minutes.
“Given the game image, we had to at least get a draw and we did. Although it was also made easy for us by the red card,” Kökçü told ESPN after the exciting match in De Kuip.
“The first half was difficult. We had a lot of possession, but it was difficult to play through it. We played good football, but we were too restless in the beginning.”

‘Didn’t immediately play freely’
Kökçü played an unfortunate role in PSV striker Anwar El Ghazi’s early opening goal by losing the ball. According to the playmaker, this had to do with a minor injury.
“On Saturday I had some trouble with my thigh during training. I felt that today during the warm-up. I didn’t play completely free in the beginning.”
Partly due to the result of the top match in De Kuip, it is very exciting at the top of the Eredivisie. There are still fourteen rounds to go this season. Next weekend Feyenoord will play against sc Heerenveen.
