The Colombian film Los Reyes del Mundo stands out among those shortlisted.
Colombia once again stands out in the cinematographic context, since this time it will have an important presence at the PLATINO Awards of the Ibero-American Audiovisual, since it has several pre-selected productions that could be awarded at the gala of this ceremony, whose purpose is to give it the place that is Spanish-speaking cinema deserves.

There were 237 productions that are part of this shortlist, taking into account that there are 194 films and 43 series, however, when selecting the finalists the number is reduced; because there will be only 20 per category. Colombia competes against various countries in the region, pondering titles such as Los Reyes del Mundo, La Jauría and Juanpis González: La Serie.
In the same way, only the purely filmic aspects were taken into account, since the technical, sound and script concepts are also part of these pre-nominations. The ceremony where the winners will be announced will be held in Spain, as the IFEMA Madrid Municipal Palace will receive the nominees on April 22, in an exclusive gala.
