The major outage that hit ING on Wednesday was resolved around midnight. Customers can again bank via the app and log in to Mijn ING.
Since Wednesday morning, thousands of ING customers have made themselves heard via the Allestoringen website and social media. According to the bank, internet banking required various internal systems to communicate with each other, but this was not successful.
ING investigates and evaluates the cause of the malfunction. “So that we can prevent a recurrence in the future,” says a spokesman for the bank.
“We are very disappointed and once again apologize to our customers. They deserve good service.”
