Instagram model accused of killing her dad over laptop squabble

An Instagram model is accused of killing her father by stabbing him while he slept over a squabble over a laptop.

22-year-old Nikki Secondino is accused of murdering her father with a hammer and knife, in addition to seriously injuring her sister with a knife as she tried to intervene, according to a statement from the District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, United States.

The investigation determined that “prior to the incident, the defendant and her father had a verbal argument over a laptop computer. On December 29, 2022, around 5:20 a.m., the accused allegedly attacked Carlo Secondino, 61, while he was sleeping on the couch,” the statement said.

Nikki Secondino allegedly hit him with a hammer several times, then stabbed him with a kitchen knife, according to the evidence collected.

The Instagram model’s 19-year-old sister tried to intervene after hearing the commotion in the living room.

She was then allegedly stabbed in the body, hands and face. She had to undergo an operation due to her injuries.

“The accused then rushed outside the house and told officers that two people entered her house, killed her sister and father and sexually assaulted her,” the statement said.

Investigators later determined that his version of events was false.

The young woman and her father had already had incidents of domestic violence in the past.

The father had also previously expressed fear of the accused, the statement said.
