The pain and destruction do not end… The United Nations Human Rights Office has raised to 7,110 the number of civilians killed in Ukraine since the war began. Of them, more than 400 were minors. The number of injured amounts to 11,547. The last 5 have died in the Russian bombardments of the last two days in Kherson and Kharkiv. 170 have died since the beginning of 2023.
The President of Ukraine received this Monday in Mykolaiv to Denmark’s prime minister, Mette Frederiksen. To end the Russian presence on its territory, Zelensky insistently demands more weapons from the West. He has asked for deliveries to be speeded up and for some taboos to be broken, such as sending fighter planes.
Germany resists, but other Western countries consider that it is no longer taboo. Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has not ruled out Warsaw sending F16 fighters.
