In the audiovisual archive it was possible to see how a large group of police officers kept him immobilized on the sidewalk of Yucatán street. Hours later, the CDMX SSC issued a statement detailing what happened to the puppy. According to the document, an officer belonging to this security unit was bitten by the dog when she was chasing two suspected thieves, who moments before had stolen a cell phone from a woman in the Roma Norte neighborhood.
Through the Command and Control Center (C2) Centro, field policemen were informed about the robbery and they immediately went to the site. They began with investigations and very soon found the vehicle where the criminals were transported. They found the car in front of a house at the intersection of Chiapas and Yucatán streets, the security elements finally located the possible perpetrators, who underwent a preventive review.
It was then that two women came out of the house and released a pitbull dog to attack the officer. The dog bit into the leg of the policewoman, however the officers managed to arrest both women and called the medical service so that her partner could be treated.
