During his account, the investigator accused that Poulos exerted sexual and physical pressure against the victim until he caused his death. “John Poulos had been in a dating relationship with Valentina for three years, to the point of having a shared experience commitment. You, John Poulos, took Valentina’s life as a result of a jealousy process,” added prosecutor Daniel Gómez Acuña.

In his speech, Martín Alberto Riascos, lawyer for John Poulos, asked the delegate of the Attorney General’s Office to clarify what was the sentimental relationship between his client and Valentina Trespalacios.
