Rita Ora has finally confirmed that she and director Taika Waititi are married. The singer told the British radio program Heart Breakfast on Friday that she was “officially off the market”.

The British tabloid The Sun reported in August that Ora and Waititi had secretly married. The singer had not yet confirmed that.

In Heart Breakfast, Ora says that the ceremony took place in a small circle and that it was exactly the way the singer wanted it. “It was just fun and perfect,” she said. “Sorry, it’s not very interesting. One day we’ll throw another big party.”

The British singer and the director from New Zealand started dating in May 2021. In June, it was also reported by the tabloid that the two were engaged.
