The singer had to apologize in the middle of the show for forgetting the lyrics.
In chapter 38 of the La Descarga singing contest, the second night was held in which the mentors Maía, Santiago Cruz, Gusi and Marbelle sing a duet with their chosen ones, facing off for 10 million pesos for the winning team. However, the presentation of the Queen of the technocarrilera gave something to talk about on social networks and among her colleagues, after she was intimidated by her pupil on stage.

Marbelle chose Mel García, remembered for having been the name of David Bisbal in previous years, to sing the song Entra en mi vida, by the group Sin Bandera, together on the stage of the program. In the middle of the rehearsal of the song in the music camp, the singer gave several lessons to her pupil, who did not feel confident to interpret the romantic theme near her mentor.
The famous singer told him that the challenge was “to be one on stage”, because since the theme was romantic, a connection between the two of them had to be noticed.

“Sweetheart, it’s that you intimidate me,” the pupil told Marbelle, so she proceeded to tie him to her in rehearsal so that he would feel her close and lose his fear. Despite the fact that her mentor asked him to hug her, the contestant stayed away from her and she insisted that on stage they should appear to be in love with her.
In the rehearsal Mel García said that he was afraid to touch Marbelle.
“I just don’t know how to explain it to you, I’m afraid to touch you”, were the words of Mel García at the end of the essay. Marbelle then left him a task for the presentation “why? this song requires it and that will be your challenge, to lose that fear”, the mentor told her before leaving the music camp.

The participant was preparing the rest of the day for his presentation together with Marbelle, in which not only his performance in the competition was at stake, but also the possibility of being the second team to win 10 million pesos for being the favorite of the viewers. When it came time for his introduction, Mel Garcia signaled that he was ready to show his mentor that he had done his job.
Indeed, the two began to sing on stage and their first approaches generated surprised faces among the other mentors and participants. Maía, Santiago Cruz and Gusi applauded every time the two singers stared at each other or held hands, but when the moment came for the hug that they had rehearsed for so long, they all left their mouths open.
Marbelle took center stage and began to sing, while Mel García came up behind her and grabbed her waist. At that moment Gusi got up from his chair and in the musical camp the participants shouted in surprise, knowing that this was the personal challenge of his partner.

Although this was what caused the participant conflict, the one who ended up intimidated by the hug was Marbelle, who forgot the lyrics of the song and started laughing. Immediately afterwards, the singer apologized to the public and continued singing. Despite this impasse starring the queen of the technocarrilera, the couple continued with their presentation and received standing applause from their peers.
When the show ended, Marbelle and Mel García hugged, but the hug lasted so long that Carlos Calero went up on stage and said “what a shame to interrupt, but we’re on the air.” The mentors started teasing their colleague and pointed out that from now on, the union between the two of them would be called MarMel.
To explain what had happened, the singer stated that, “I had to be very concentrated because I didn’t know that part of the song, so I was in my mind all the time repeat and repeat, but when he grabbed me by the waist I forgot everything,” Marbelle confessed with a laugh.
