Promised is debt. More than a dozen European countries have decided to answer the call for Volodímir Zelenski requesting more military support, committing hundreds of tanks to the Ukrainian Army.
This has been advanced by the Government of Lithuania, which confirmed how up to 11 of those countries will proceed to increase their aid to kyiv at the meeting this Friday in Rammstein.
“We will continue to donate, we will continue to train and we will continue to side with Ukraine,” confirmed the UK Defense Minister, Ben Wallace.
Sweden is another one of those countries. just passed a new care package that includes the highly demanded Archer artillery system. From kyiv, President Zelensky insisted on the need for this constant military support: “At this moment, the key task of our State, of all of us and of our partners is to daily reinforce the feeling of the terrorist state that they will not be able to achieve anything in Ukraine”.
“Nuclear War Risk”
The war, meanwhile, continues, with a high risk of a nuclear accident, experts warn. The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossiassures from kyiv that the inspectors of his agency work to try to minimize the risk of this happening.
But that, obviously, is not in their hands. From Russia, the former president Dmitry Medvédev published through Telegram a more than threatening message: “the loss of a nuclear power in a conventional war could lead to the outbreak of nuclear war.”.
Moscow also continues its rhetoric of blaming Ukraine for the current situation, while continuing to strengthen ties with Belarus, it says, to avoid the risk of aggression from kyiv and the West.
