In addition to Costner, the other leading roles are played by Gary Oldman, Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau and Sally Kirkland. JFK is directed by Oliver Stone, who also Platoon (1986) in Snowden (2016) made. The crime thriller won two Oscars in 1992, for best cinematography and best film adaptation.
