On date 1 of the Panama – Apertura 2023 tournament, Alianza celebrated against Tauro at the Rommel Fernández stadium. The visit scored the only goal of the game at 42 minutes into the second half, through Richard Rodríguez. After taking the ball on the right, the midfielder finished off the goal from his own half and beat the goalkeeper with a fantastic goal to remember.
The best man of the match was Richard Rodríguez. The Alianza midfielder scored 1 goal.
Kevin Melgar also stood out at the Rommel Fernández stadium. The Alianza goalkeeper shone.
It was a game with only one card, in the 42nd minute of the first half Reyniel Perdomo received a yellow card.
Tauro’s coach, Francisco Perlo, proposed a 4-3-3 formation with Celino Hinojosa in goal; Omar Córdoba, Gerardo Negrete, Jan Vargas and Francisco Vence on the defensive line; Irving Gudiño, Miguel Camargo and Rudy Yearwood in the middle; and Omar Browne, Hiberto Peralta and Víctor Medina in attack.
For its part, Jair Palacios’ team took to the field with a 4-4-2 scheme with Kevin Melgar under the three sticks; Camilo Villegas, Santiago Ramírez, Jhon Trujillo and Reyniel Perdomo in defense; Manuel Rodríguez, John Asprilla, Alcides Díaz and Maikell Díaz in midfield; and Daniel Vargas and César Medina up front.
Oliver Vergara Rodríguez was the referee who directed the match at the Rommel Fernández stadium.
