CHICAGO (AP) — Josh Giddey matched his season high with 25 points and added 10 rebounds, helping the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 124-110 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Friday night.
Rookie Jalen Williams scored 22 points and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 21 for the Thunder, who have won two in a row, four of five and completed a sweep in their series against Chicago.
Zach LaVine finished with 25 points and Nikola Vucevic had 19 and 11 rebounds as the Bulls lost for the third straight time. Leading scorer DeMar DeRozan missed his second straight game with a quadriceps injury suffered Monday in the loss in Boston.
The Bulls trailed by as many as 18 points in the second half before going on an 18-5 run, closing within 91-90 late in the third quarter. Chicago never got the better of Oklahoma City, which racked up back-to-back baskets on turnovers by the Bulls to extend their lead to 104-94 midway through the fourth quarter.
Gilgeous-Alexander scored six points late in the first half, capping an 18-6 run that gave the Thunder a 72-58 lead at halftime.
