Armed men ambushed police officers in Tlajomulco, Jalisco; a policeman died

A confrontation between armed civilians and security forces has taken place in the municipality of Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, Jalisco. Both the Secretary of Security and the State Attorney General’s Office have confirmed that the events occurred at the confluences of Lomas del Mirador and Lomas del Sur, although they have not provided further details. In the absence of confirmation, a policeman would have lost his life.

The first reports indicate that state police officers were attacked with firearms by a group of civilians after having gone to the site to answer an emergency call. Upon realizing the presence of the security elements, the attackers began an attack against him, sparking the confrontation.
