In an interview with Infobae, Susy Díaz recalled her time as a congressman in the period 1995-2000. The former vedette revealed that she has already agreed to be part of a political party to run in the upcoming elections. “I have invitations from two large parties, one of them is Somos Perú, I have already said yes. I’m going to see, I don’t know how it will be, but for the moment I have accepted that match”.

He also confessed the reason why he could not be a congressman again in the past. “I have not been able to apply because it was the image of very large brands, one of the clauses of the contract was not to touch on political issues, that had me tied up. That’s why I couldn’t return to Congress.”

Finally, if he manages to get a seat in Congress, his promise is to defend the economy. “My bills have always defended the economy of the public who have voted for me. Among the projects that I presented and approved were the exoneration of the IGV to 18% of basic necessities, that people with land have their title so that they can build their house, that the electricity and water does not rise. I will always defend the economy.”
