Ruud de Wild relieved after good result control scan: ‘Months in the nerves’ | Backbite

Ruud de Wild is happy that the result of his control scan is good. The NPO Radio 2 presenter was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2021. He has now been declared clean, but De Wild must remain under control for the rest of his life.

De Wild admits that he has been “nervous for months” for this scan. “Waiting is sometimes good. Waiting is sometimes hell. For a scan result, for example,” the 53-year-old DJ writes on Instagram. “Fortunately the result was good. Now keep it that way.”

De Wild then turns to his girlfriend Olcay Gulsen. “Dear Olcay, now I will be more relaxed with you.” The radio presenter previously informed the AD that he had a lot of support from her during his illness. “She got me through it.”
