Tijuana and Cruz Azul matched 1 to 1

Closed a 1-1 tie between Los Xolos and La Máquina at the Caliente stadium, for date 1 of the Mexico – Liga MX – Clausura 2023 tournament.

The locals began winning with a goal by Lisandro López, from a penalty, in the 45th minute of the first half, while through Carlos Rodríguez the visitor equalized the match in the 83rd minute of the complementary stage.

Carlos Rodríguez was the figure of the party. The Cruz Azul midfielder was the author of 1 goal.

The judge selected for the match at the Caliente stadium was Daniel Quintero Huitrón.

The Xolos will host FC Juárez on the next matchday. Likewise, the Machine will play at home against CF Monterrey.

After the match, the local team is left with 1 point and in sixth place in the standings. While the visit has 1 unit and ranks fifth in the tournament.
