Activists pour paint on the French Ministry of Ecology

The French Ministry of Ecology has been the target of the latest attack by the environmental organization Derniere Renovation. Several young people have painted the facade orange to denounce the climate inaction of the Government of Emmanuel Macron. Activists of this organization staged a similar act on Thursday at the Ministry of the Economy and on Wednesday at the Matignon Palace, the official residence of the Prime Minister.

Climate change activists across Europe are becoming radicalized. They are angry with politicians who take too long to respond to the climate crisis. The “Dernière Renovation” group from France has announced new actions like this one. They demand the thermal insulation of all the flooring of buildings in France by 2040, mandatory by law and financed by the taxpayer.
