These images, captured by Iranian police cameras on September 13, show Mahsa Amini fainting at the police station. The Iranian authorities have broadcast them on state television assuring that the young man’s death was due to multiple organ failure caused by cerebral hypoxia.

The official forensic report adds that it is due to “an operation for a brain tumor that Mahsa Amini had at the age of 8. However, his family assures that he was in perfect health and that his body showed clear signs of violence.
Two teenagers aged 16 and 17 die in the protests
While the protests continue against the Islamic veil and the violent police repression that has claimed the lives of dozens of people. Among the new victims are two teenagers: 16-year-old popular video blogger Sarina Esmailzadeh and 17-year-old Nika Shakarami.
Violence and state secrets
Nasreen Shakarami says that her daughter Nika “had her face, cheekbones and teeth broken. And her skull was deformed by the blows.” In addition, the authorities kept her death a secret for nine days and buried her in a remote area against the wishes of her family.
