The founder of Tesla, Elon Muskfinally decided to buy Twitter for 44 billion dollars as announced last July, the Bloomberg agency reported.
Bloomberg, who cites people who asked to remain anonymous, assures that the businessman presented the new proposal to Twitter through a letter, which will mean the payment of 54.2 dollars for each share.
After hearing the news, the company’s shares soared more than 12% and even stock market activity was momentarily suspended after the sharp jump in its valuation.
