The head of the Federal Consumer Attorney’s Office (Profeco), Ricardo Sheffield, revealed which are the most “over the top” creams, since the percentages of their main ingredients are very low.
These are Knorr and Campbell’s brand creams, since the official explained that the “super passe de thread” is Knorr’s poblano chili cream, which only has 0.8% poblano chili.
“Now they just taught this soup the chili and that’s all that touched it,” said the head of the Federal Consumer Protection Agency.

He said that in the Consumer Magazine of October a study on cream soups is published, where the cheese one, from Campbell’s, is one of the most misleading, since it only has 1% cheese.
In addition to the Knorr corn soup, which only has 1.4%, “a few grains”, and the mushroom soup that contains 0.9%, “virtually nothing”.
Sheffield invited consumers to consult the quality study published in the October magazine, which details more on this topic, so that they can make more informed decisions.
