The undersecretary of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) Ricardo Mejía Berdeja reported that a police officer from Cuautitlán, allegedly responsible for the murder of actor Octavio Ocaña, better known as “Benito” for his role in the series “Neighbors”, was linked to the process.
When presenting the Zero Impunity report, in the “morning” of today, the federal official recalled that Leopoldo “N” was arrested on September 20 by the Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Mexico and the SSPC Anti-Homicide Work Unit.
He said that he was linked to the process for the crimes of manslaughter and abuse of authority.
Within the investigation, another of those involved, Gerardo “N”, is still pending to complete the arrest warrant against him.
The actor was killed 11 months ago during a chase involving police officers from Cuautitlán in the State of Mexico.
