The Ministry of Economic Development (Sedeco) and Mastercard signed a memorandum of understanding with the aim of promoting digitization in the payment methods of micro, small and medium-sized companies (MSMEs) of the State.
The joint work between Sedeco and the financial services company in the world aims for MSMEs to increase their sales volume through digitization and to develop financing mechanisms to increase their productivity.
Roberto Arechederra, head of Sedeco, stressed that for the Government of Jalisco it is very important to continue promoting MSMEs on the path to digitalization so that they can increase their sales.
“We know that a world beyond cash helps create a safer and more inclusive world. With a growing number of consumers moving to a digital lifestyle, we are proud to work with the Government of Jalisco and make the tools and resources they need available to local businesses,” said Mauricio Schwartzmann, Country Manager of Mastercard Mexico. .
