According to the latest update to the Federal Labor Lawarticle 76 is worded as follows:
“Article 76. Workers who have more than one year of service will enjoy an annual paid vacation period, which in no case may be less than six working days, and which will increase by two working days, up to twelve, for each subsequent year of service. .
After the fourth year, the vacation period will increase by two days for every five services”
Vacation labor reform
Article 77 that accompanies chapter IV of said law entitled “Vacations”, mentions that workers who provide discontinuous and seasonal services will have the right to an annual vacation period, in proportion to the number of working days in the year.
Article 78 says that Workers must continuously enjoy at least six days of vacation.
Article 79 specifies that holidays They cannot be compensated with remuneration. However, if the employment relationship ends before the year of service is completed, the worker shall be entitled to remuneration proportionate to the time of services rendered.
On the other hand, in article 80 it can be read that workers shall be entitled to a premium of not less than twenty-five percent Over the wages that correspond to them during the vacation period.
Finally, article 81 says that vacations must be granted to workers within six months of completing the year of service.
“Employers will annually deliver to their workers a record that contains their seniority and according to it the vacation period that corresponds to them and the date on which they must enjoy it,” it is mentioned.

For its part, the commission, headed by Napoleón Gómez Urrutia, seeks to increase another two days for every five years of service starting in the sixth year.
