This was reported this Friday by the mayor of Guadalajara, Pablo Lemus Navarro, who pointed out, although they were already ready, the delivery was delayed due to work related to the first government report.
However, the merchants adjusted in times and as a whole it will be possible to deliver the spaces in the middle of a popular festivalso that San Juan de Dios can operate at 100 percent again.
“They are going to give away cakes, pozole, tacos, we are going to bring mariachi, it is going to be a great popular festival, but above all to celebrate that San Juan de Dios is standing and above all to invite citizens to go buy the extraordinary products that we have in the market”, he expressed.
Regarding the businesses that have not yet returned to operate in their premises, the mayor said that it’s just about the butcher shopssince high-voltage installations were also necessary, which “took a little longer”, however, they will also return to the interior on Tuesday.
The municipe assured that they continue in coordination and communication with the merchants to jointly determine what will be the next step to proceed with the remodeling of the property, to which the State Government also promised to join.
However, he said, they asked that this year no work be carried out in this regard, because “they need to increase their sales and more in the Christmas season”, so the remodeling could start until the first two months of 2023.
