You buy a robot vacuum cleaner mainly because of the convenience. But they can’t vacuum as well as a regular vacuum cleaner and they don’t get everywhere. So you will still have to deal with it yourself.
Robot vacuums are also quite pricey. But most can independently vacuum the floor of a large room and recharge themselves when the battery is empty. Some even empty their own dust container.
The Consumers’ Association tests robot vacuum cleaners on, among other things, suction, smart navigation, ease of use, battery life and energy consumption. A total of 51 robot vacuum cleaners were tested.
A robot vacuum cleaner from Rowenta is the Best in the Test. Do you want to spend a little less? Then a model from Xiaomi Roborock is the Best Buy. It is available in different colors, which may differ in price. Black is the cheapest at the moment.
Best in Test: Rowenta X-plorer Series 95 RR7987
This Rowenta X-plorer from the 95 series has an accompanying comprehensive app and it can mop. It is an excellent robot vacuum cleaner for hard floors. It doesn’t do well on carpet and makes a lot of noise.
This Rowenta X-plorer is an economical robot vacuum cleaner. It not only consumes little power when vacuuming a room, but also on standby power, so when it is on the charger with a charged battery.

Overall, this Xiaomi scores less than the Rowenta with a test rating of 6.9. On the other hand, it is more than 300 euros cheaper. The value for money is excellent
