The swimsuit is required for the spectators as for the singers! Because Singing in the pool, it’s an opera in the water, in one of the most beautiful swimming pools in the capital. First performance this Saturday and the second Sunday.
This free show was created by the company Harmonious Disposition on the theme of global warming. Heat, drought, melting glaciers, pollution of the oceans, the idea is to address burning news, in a refreshing setting, all with opera music. All the tunes sung come from the classical repertoire.
The author and director, Anne Saubost was also keen to democratize lyrical music: “The idea was to offer opera differently to decompartmentalize this art of emotions.”
