After Narcos (2015–2017) and Narcos: Mexico (2018-2021) Netflix now comes with a new drug series: Narco Saints (2022). In the new series we see how a Korean drug boss in Suriname is being hunted by the government and police. The first teaser trailer can be seen today and Narco-Saints will appear on Netflix next month.
Korean drug boss in Suriname
Kang In-su is a humble entrepreneur who visits Suriname for business. However, his life is turned upside down when he is eventually framed by a Korean drug lord operating in the South American country.
Later, he is lured into a secret mission by Choi Chang-ho (Park Hae-soo of Squid Game (2021– )), an agent of the Korean National Intelligence Service, to arrest Jeon Yo-han, who works black as a pastor to cover up his activities as the head of a notorious drug cartel.
In addition, another Narcos series on the way
Netflix previously announced that it is working on a brand new Narcos series, this time about a female drug lord as we are used to in, for example Queen of the South (2016–2021): Griselda. In it, Modern Family star Sofia Vergara takes on the role of the infamous cartel leader Griselda.
