After First Kill (2022) Netflix today again puts a red line through a relatively new series: Q-Force (2021). The adult animated series will not get a second season.
Netflix isn’t shouting the bad news from the rooftops. The message about the cancellation of the series comes from series writer Matt Rogers, who also voices Twink. He tells in an episode of the podcast Attitudes! that his series cannot continue.
I loved it. It was so nice to be able to bring joy to something… The people who loved it really loved it, and the good news is it will always be on Netflix. It didn’t get a second season, but it’s there and it exists.

Reason for canceling Q-Force is not given; but Netflix usually ends shows that don’t attract enough viewers. The streaming service thinks it will no longer be possible to pay the costs of a new season.
While viewers were generally positive given the 78% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, critics are less enthusiastic. Of them, the animated series has to do with a score of 29%. This poor reception may also have been decisive in not renewing the series.
The first season of Q-Force is now available on Netflix.
