The Jalisco Jewelry Chamber seeks to consolidate the State as a hub and distributor of jewelry in Latin America, which is why today the jewelry exhibition was inaugurated at the Guadalajara International Airport.
“It is an honor to be able to inaugurate today this exhibition of designer jewelry that undoubtedly adds to a great mission that we have set for ourselves and that we are going step by step to consolidate Jalisco as the jewelry hub of Latin America,” said Álvaro Azpeitia Covarrubias, during the event.
70 percent of national jewelry is produced in Jalisco, an entity that has been consolidated by having an annual production and marketing of 20 tons of gold, 80 of silver and is key in the distribution and production of materials for jewelry.

During 2021, the total value of jewelry exports was 75 million dollars; of which 94 percent was exported to the United States and the rest to countries such as Canada, Panama, Spain, Hong Kong, Israel and Guatemala.

The head of the Ministry of Economic Development, Luis Roberto Arechederra, and the director of the Guadalajara airport, Martín Pablo Zazueta, were present at the opening of the exhibition.
