Construction of the annual Noorderzon festival will start next Monday in the Noorderplantsoen. The festival itself will start on August 18 and will last until August 28.
In ten days a complete ‘village’ is built from the ground up, including – a number of new – performance locations, bars and terraces and installations and of course the well-known lights.
Spiegeltent Pollux and open-air stage Apollo – with free music every day – will be set up in the northern part of the festival site. Along the pond terraces Paradijsvogel and De Raaf and a new small stage for music: Podium De Raaf. In the southern part there will be an area especially for children: De Kleine Beer, play locations De Vliegende Vis and Kameleon (with a program that was previously shown in containers), music stage Callisto and Spiegeltent Castor and various terraces. Spread over the park, local tenants offer a diverse range of food and drinks.
Tickets are only available online prior to the festival via the festival’s website: Noorderzon.nl/programma.
