Netflix will soon have a brand new Danish series richer: Copenhagen Cowboy (2022). The streaming service today announces the new project and also reveals the first details about the thriller from Denmark.
Criminal underworld of Copenhagen
Netflix describes the new series from Denmark as an exciting story about a young hero, Miu (played by Angela Bundalovic), who travels through the criminal underworld of Copenhagen, the Danish capital. More details about the plot are not yet known.
Created by man behind Pusher trilogy
Nicolas Winding Refn is at the helm of the new Danish Netflix series, the man who previously made the Pusher trilogy, drive (2011) co-directed with Ryan Gosling and collaborated on Amazon series Too Old to Die Young (2019).
With Copenhagen Cowboy, I return to my past to shape my future by creating a series, an extension of my constantly evolving alter-egos, now in the form of my young heroine, Miu.
