A total of 284 Central American and Cuban migrantswere located inside a warehouse without electricity in the vicinity of the Mexico-Querétaro highway, who attended by paramedics and mostly transferred to the migratory station of the National Institute of Migration (INM) reported Mexican authorities.

The state police received a call alerting that a group of undocumented immigrants in a building located on the Fifth Block of the town of San Miguel de la Victorianext to the Mexico-Querétaro highway.

At the site, the uniformed officers detained José and Brigan, 38 and 49 years old, respectively.
They also secured two vehicles, one of the Nissan Sentra brand, blue, and a gray Mitsubishi van.
Central American migrants
In the warehouse that had no electricity service, they were located adult men, minors, women and four children in arms, apparently from the countries of Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Cuba and El Salvador.
For this reason, ambulances arrived with Civil Protection personnel from the municipalities of Jilotepec, Chapa de Mota and Soyaniquilpanwho verified the health status of the rescued migrants.
Given this finding, Mexican authorities notified the National Institute of Migration (INM) for the corresponding proceedings.
Mothers with children in their arms and minors were transferred to the offices of the System for the Integral Development of the Family of the State of Mexico (DIFEM) based in Toluca, while the rest of the adults, sent in various official vehicles to the Agujas immigration station, in the Iztapalapa mayor’s office, Mexico City (CDMX).
Meanwhile, the two detainees and the insured vehicles were presented to the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) based in Tlalnepantla, where the investigation folder began to determine their legal situation.
