In Jalisco, not even the police are safe. So far this year, at least 15 police officers and an agent from the Public Ministry have been killed in different events, according to their own newspaper records.
However, criminals have also deprived agents in charge of security in our Entity of their liberty, putting their lives at risk and demonstrating that they do not fear authority.
So far this year there have been at least seven plagiarized officers. Of them, four agents were found alive, two without life and the location of the rest has not yet been confirmed.
Who are the agents deprived of liberty and what is known about their cases?
April 28: Two military women are kidnapped in Puerto Vallarta
They were Second Lieutenant Tania Quitar and Sergeant Ana Laura Olvera, who were deprived of their liberty in the Marina Vallarta area, in Puerto Vallarta.
Both women were assigned to Mexico City and were on vacation at the Puerto Costero when they were deprived of their liberty.
To locate them, various operations were deployed from an early hour, locating them later in a commercial plaza in the Fluvial area.
According to the information shared at the time by the Sedena, his capture could have been due to retaliation by organized crime in the face of death, after his capture, of Saúl Alejandro Rincón Godoy, known as “El Chopa”, which occurred on April 22.
May 5: Custodian Police
The Guadalajara Police received a report that at the crossings of Privada Jilgueros and Periférico Norte, in the Lomas del Paraíso neighborhood, there were detonations of a firearm.
Upon arrival, a woman told the officers that minutes earlier her husband had been detained.

Commander Antonio Martínez Proa was kidnapped from his home, located in La Magdalena, Zapopan, last Thursday, July 7, while he was in his franchise period.
The criminals took him away in a white Mazda truck escorted by a motorcycle, before which an operation was launched through heaven and earth to locate him.
On Saturday, July 9, the State Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that the element had already been found alive after being released by his captors.who apparently had tried to negotiate some goods.
