Apex Legends pro player Philip “ImperialHal” Dosen left a strong impression in the Apex Legends Global Series 2022 tournament, when he chose not to beat a player who lost the connection despite a $2 million prize pool.
As reported by Eurogamer, ImperialHal saw a lone player in the distance and since it didn’t move, he assumed he had lost his connection. He told his team members not to shoot.

“Don’t shoot him. Don’t shoot, bro! He crashed,” ImperialHal said. “He crashed 100 percent or something. Don’t shoot him – that’s Scarz.”
His kind gesture and sportsmanship did not go unnoticed and fans and other players praised his decision to spare the player who was clearly in trouble. ImperialHal has responded by saying, “It’s the least any player can do when there are these problems.”
In the end TSM and Scarz managed to get through the qualification of the day and can continue with the competition a day later.
