The head of the Tax Administration Service (SAT), Raquel Buenrostro Sánchez, assured that it was not the agency that requested the Certificate of Fiscal Situation, but rather the companies.
During the “morning” and after the constant complaints, Buenrostro reiterated that it was not the SAT that requested the certificate, and recalled that As of this year, a modification was made to the fiscal miscellany, where in addition to the RFC, the name or company name and the postal code of the taxpayers would now be verified. to combat the billing companies.
“What happened is that most of the people who have salaries and wages do not know the zip code they have registered, it was the human resources managers of the companies that sent the workers to get the data from the SAT and the document that contains that information is the proof of tax situation”.
In addition, he charged that many employers improperly began to condition payment.
He repeated that the SAT did not request proof of tax status, since it only needs the name and postal code, in addition clarified that no employer can condition the payment of a job earned by an administrative procedure of any kind.
To comply with this procedure, Buenrostro said that an extension was given until January 1, 2023.
“We are going to assess whether it has a significant impact on the containment of ghost companies (invoicing), we are going to assess making another extension,” he said.
