Local reports from Italy have confirmed that Dune: Part Two (2023) from Legendary Entertainment will be filmed in Altivole for two days tomorrow.
Where will Dune: Part Two be recorded?
Full production with much of the cast returning is set for July 21 in Budapest, Hungary, where the 2021 title was also shot.
Shooting in Italy is said to take place in the Carlo Scarpa-designed Brion Tomb, a modernist-looking area that seems ripe for the Dune universe. Scarpa designed the concrete structured area between 1968-78, consisting of a small chapel, a reflecting pool, an arcosolium and gardens with Byzantine and Japanese accents.
Who plays in Dune: Part Two
The original cast of Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Javier Bardem and Josh Brolin reprise their roles. In addition, Léa Seydoux joins the second part as Lady Margot, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken and Austin Butler.
The Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Villeneuve and Tanya LaPointe produced dune (2021) grossed $384 million WW and won six Oscars after being nominated for ten, including Best Picture.
