WHY IS THERE A POWER CUT?
There are four main reasons why Enel Peru schedules power outages: for maintenance, for unexpected breakdowns, for debt or for electrical risk.
For maintenance: It is to improve the quality of the service. Maintenance and renovation work is carried out on all its facilities, which is why there are temporary power cuts in some districts, on predetermined dates and times.
Unforeseen breakdowns: Any eventuality or accident occurring in the electrical installations, whether due to force majeure or damage caused by third parties, is attended to.
Due to debt: It is made when the customer has not paid their Enel electricity bills on time.
Due to electrical risk: It is carried out preventively in situations where the integrity of people is put at risk. To avoid this, do not manipulate the electricity meter without authorization, do not make clandestine connections (not authorized by the main network) and do not sell energy to others.
