Fire Emblem Heroes has reportedly made more than $1 billion in sales, making it much more than Nintendo’s other mobile games.
Mario Kart Tour and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp are in second place together, but have only made $282 million. Dragalia Lost is fourth with $168 million, followed by Super Mario Run with $87 million and Dr. Mario World with $14 million.
Heroes has already earned more than $29 million in the first quarter of 2022. The game is mainly popular in Japan (54% of sales), followed by the US (at 32%) and Canada (at 3%) .
The game was released more than five years ago in February 2017 and was the third mobile game Nintendo released to enter the new market. At the time, Nintendo said they want to release 2 to 3 mobile games per year, but since 2019’s Mario Kart Tour we haven’t seen a mobile game from the developer. We only got Niantic’s Pikmin Bloom which came out in 2021, but that was not developed by Nintendo itself.
